PREMIER LEAGUE (1st) v ACL - Won by 133 runs
After a delay to the start, the match was reduced to 36 overs per innings.
ACL elected to field first with Dane Anderson (56) and Thanuka Dabare putting on 118 for the first stand.
Nook went on to record his first century of the season with a well crafted 113, while Liam Reynolds finished 49 not out in seeing us to 9-296.
In defence, the bowling was solid with Kyle Strochnetter (3-29), Sameera Vishwaranga (2-7), Kobe Harris (2-37) leading the charge, while Ando ended up with three catches for the match.
A good win heading into the bye.
A-GRADE - BLACK (4th) v Evandale - won by 5 wickets
Credit to our bowlers for restricting the hosts to 119 and making the chase reasonably comfortable.
Shahid Ahmed (3-28) and Matt Green (4-11) were the chief destroyers, before Ivo Agostini (30) and Dean Stephens (28) put on a 62-run opening stand and set us up for a win in 27.4 overs.
Good form heading into a clash with the ladder leaders on Saturday.
A-GRADE - RED (7th) v Exeter - match tied
This is a result that provides mixed feelings - disappointing not to get all four points but pleased with the fight.
Exeter managed 5-169 with Tyson Campbell (2-19), Ian Labrooy (1-16), Nathan Balym (1-29) and Jack Ikin (1-16) the wickettakers.
With the bat, Nath (70) and Brett Matthews (43) almost saw us home - taking us from 3-24 to 4-139 with an impressive 115-run partnership.
However, it wasn't to be with the match ending in a tie and us sharing the points with Exeter.
B-GRADE (5th) v Perth - lost by 3 wickets
Batting first, we didn't make enough runs with the bat, dismissed for 103 in 38 overs.
Adam House (34) and Dave Smith (15) were the pair to register double figures, before a solid showing with the ball.
We had the Demons 6-74 and we were right in the match, but they managed to dig in and work their way to 7-105 in 34.2 overs.

C-GRADE (4th) v Diggers - won by 46 runs
Sent in to bat, Nick Young (92) and Jason Thomas (46) got us off to a flyer - putting on 146 at the top.
Youngy was joined at the crease by Corey Martin who finished unbeaten on 53 who survived his own bbq put on a 56 run partnership with Ged Neskovcin (24*) to guide us to 2-251 from 40 overs.
In defence, we gave some of our up and coming stars a chance, and managed to win by 46 runs.
Jason Thomas and Mat Williams both finished with 4-28, while Dineth Prasanga picked up is maiden wicket for the HCC.
A great team effort.
