FEMALE BOOM (5th) v Longford - Lost by 7 wickets

Taking on the reigning premiers batting wasn't easy, with us setting them 44 for victory.
Our defence started brilliantly with Tiana Plumbridge running out opening batter for a globe before Hailee Harris (1-8) and Tiana (1-17) each picked up a wicket.
Plenty of positives out of the past two weeks as we look forward to a home clash against Legana on Wednesday night.

PREMIER LEAGUE (2nd) v Bracknell - won by 6 wickets

On a cold and wet day, we dismissed the hosts for 116 in 20 overs thanks to some strong bowling partnerships.
Ash Smith continued his strong form with 4-25, while Thanuka Dabare (2-25), Dilan Jayalath (2-16) and Ian Labrooy (1-22) did the rest.
Bracknell had us on the backfoot early at 4-29, before Dane Anderson (44*) joined Damian Woods (51*) at the crease to see us home before drinks.
A great win to celebrate Woodsy's 100th match.

A-GRADE - BLACK (5th) v Diggers - Lost by 5 wickets

It didn't look like a match was going to get underway, however, it ended up being a thrilling encounter.
Batting first, Dean Stephens (35) and Ivo Agostini (58*) put on 99 for the first wicket and Kobe Harris made it to 7* before rain tumbled down again and reduced the match to a 25-over a side bout.
Duckworth-Lewis set Diggers 150 for victory and they managed to get over the line in a dramatic last over.
Kobe was our leading wicket-taker with 3-25, while Deano (1-26) and Harwinder Bhangu (1-10) collected one apiece.

A-GRADE - RED (4th) v Cressy - won by 86 runs

Played in drizzle most of the day, we managed a solid total of 5-222 batting first.
Stand-in captain Nathan Balym (58) and Sithara Perera (61) led the charge after Campbell Fraser (2) departed cheaply.
The pair put on 126 for the second wicket wich allowed Nick Price (41*) to go out and play with some freedom.
In defence, some bad balls and free hits allowed Cressy to pile on the runs early before Chieftains debutant Will Grey (2-29) proved difficult to handle.
Vishwa, coming off 4 steps, managed to break open the game with 4-12 when needed, while Martin Dicker sealed the deal with his maiden Hadspen scalp.

B-GRADE (1st) v Longford - won by 61 runs

Another big challenge for the lads and they delivered in defending a below par-score for 112.
Brett Matthews (20) and David Smith (35) were the main runscorers in setting the total.
But the defence was superb with Smithy (4-25), Gareth Hamilton (3-1), Max Reissig (2-21) and Adam House (1-2) combining to bowling Longford out for 51.
Marvellous effort!

C-GRADE (4th) v Exeter - lost by 7 wickets

Batting first, Jason Thomas (18) was the only batsman to score double figures against ladder-leaders Exeter on their home turf.
We managed to scratch out 65 before claiming three of their batsman in defence.
Jas finished with 2-17, while Tayne Thomas collected 1-6.

UNDER-16s v Riverside - Lost by 9 wickets

The lads managed a competitive score of 6-126 against one of the benchmarks, with Jacob Winter (33*) and Kristian House (25) the standouts.
With the ball, Liam Winter picked up 1-1.

UNDER-13s v Launceston Green - lost by 3 wickets.

Hadspen 6-72 (K. House 16, N. Auton 12, M. Hernyk 7) lt Launceston Green 7-119 (T. Sherwood 2-22, K. House 2-13, M. Hernyk 1-10)
