PREMIER LEAGUE lt Longford by 47 runs

In the top of the table battle, we couldn't quite get the job done.
Longford set us a target of 8-236 to hunt down with Beau Hills (3-35), Kyle Strochnetter (1-22), Dilan Jayalath (2-39), Thanuka Dabare (1-43) and Vishwa (1-17) taking the wickets.
DJ (28) and Nook (40) got us off to a good start with us on 70 when the first wickets dropped.
We then lost 5-6 to be in serious trouble before Jona Watts (34), Dean Stephens (14), Vish (20) and Nick Price (18) fought hard to the end.
Final match this week before we start the pointy end of the season and our title defence.

A-RESERVE def Bracknell by nine wickets

Out at Bracknell for the last roster match of the season, Ashley Smith took a pole with the first ball of the game on his return from injury which got us off to a great start.
Ash finished with 3 wickets off his spell and a fantastic runout. His partner Travis Crisp also was in the wickets taking 2 and we had the hosts in trouble at 5 for 19.
Enter first gamer Riley Prewer who continued the rot taking 2-9 off his 6 overs before Tommy Walker cleaned up the tail taking the last 2 wickets.
Chasing 58 to win, Ivo Agostini was unbeaten on 38 as we knocked the total off 1 wicket down in 11 overs.
Now off to the finals to defend last year's flag

B-GRADE def Bishopsbourne by 169 runs

Batting first, the lads amassed 8-242 at home with most batsmen chipping in.
Kobe Harris (36), Clint Pease (45), Alan Eadie (33), Gareth Hamilton (31) and Mitchell Anderson (53) leading the way.
In defence, Dave Smith (2-14) started the rot before Mitch (3-20), Dean Brown (3-12) and Ronald (1-5) finished the job - dismissing Bishopsbourne for 73 in 14.1 overs.
Top job - finals this week - get to training.

C-GRADE lt Evandale by 6 wickets

In a do-or-die semi-final, our batting let us down, bundled out for just 59 having won the toss and electing to bat.
Zac Reissig (10) was the only batsman to reach double figures as he showed some fight and determination in the lower order.
With the ball, we had Evandale on the ropes at 3-9 thanks to some good bowling from Jason Thomas (2-33) and a brilliant runout from Nick Young.
Terry Plumbridge Was the only other successful wicket-taker with 1-16 as the hosts got home in the 14th over.
Thank you to all the C-grade players from throughout the year for your commitment and efforts. Despite the finish, it has been a fun season to be a part of and we will be back bigger and stronger next season.
