After losing the toss, we restricted the Demons to 8-70 when their allotted overs expired.Tight bowling and some very inconsistent catching saw Beau Hills (3-8), Vishwa (2-7), Thanuka Dabare (2-15) and Dilan Jayalath (1-7) pick up scalps, while Kyle Strochnetter bowled a good opening spell. In reply, it took us 7.4 overs for us to run down the total with Dabare (30 off 13), Nathan Balym (24 off 20) leading the way.

Wooda was out just after drinks for a well made 51, which set the tone for Tommy to unleash and he also made a great 51. Travis Crisp and Matt Green then built a partnership at the end taking us to a respectable 189 after 40 overs.Opening up the bowling in his 100th, Dion Beams bowled a sensational spell of 0 for 18 after 8 and was extremely unlucky not to pick up a wicket.Tommy came on first change and picked up a couple of wickets straight away, Ivo with a direct hit and Green with a couple of wickets before drinks had them at 5 for 50.After drinks, a bit of lusty hitting kept them in the game until Dean Brown came on and picked up 3 wickets and Crispy and Housey taking the last 2 wickets to have them all out for 138 after 36 overs.
B-GRADE def Trevallyn by 4 wickets
Taking on the arch-rivals at home, we lost the toss with our opening bowlers putting together a tight opening spell without luck. With only two wickets taken and Trevallyn's opener scoring a century, it was a tough grind in the field and only through a tight second spell from Dave Smith (1/21), Jacob Casteller (1/33), a solid eight overs from Kobe Harris and Mitch Anderson we restricted Trevallyn to 214.With wickets falling early it took a sensational middle-order partnership from Cody Lowe 64 and Brett Matthews (50*) to steer us home in what was a brilliant run chase.Although Cody fell late, we managed to get home with a late father and son partnership with Owen Matthews joining his dad to bring us home for the WIN
